It is our great pleasure to invite you to World CTL 2009, following the successful inaugural World CTL 2008 Conference.
While oil supply is subject to major uncertainties on the long term, Coal-To-Liquid fuels offer great opportunities on the one hand and raise issues on the other hand.
As in 2008, World CTL 2009 deals directly with these opportunities and issues.
In addition to the 2008 series, the 2009 program features two innovative workshops, devoted to providing you with immediate practical inputs:
- Technology workshop: current available technologies applied to Illinois #6 or Powder River Basin coals, initiation to non-conventional technologies;
- “Project Structuring” workshop: lessons learned in existing projects and advice on how to avoid main common pitfalls.
World CTL 2009 will be held at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC, the history of which has been written by entrepreneurs, artists and politicians who this year again have chosen it for holding outstanding events.
On behalf of our Organizing Committee and our Advisory Board, I will be happy to welcome you to World CTL 2009, where you will meet speakers and delegates increasingly involved in international and trans-industry ventures.
