Washington DC and the Conference venue
The capital of the United States, Washington DC is a premier city for conferences in the world while possessing outstanding monuments, museums and memorials.
The World CTL 2009 Conference will be held at the Renaissance Mayflower hotel, situated four blocks North of the White House and easily accessible by public transportation.

Delegates will appreciate the neoclassical architecture and Beaux-Arts interior of the Mayflower, a proud member of Historic Hotels of America and the acclaimed “Washington’s Second Best Address”.
Transportation
From the airport, you may reach the Renaissance Mayflower hotel:
- By taxi in about 45 minutes (approximate cost: $65)
- With SuperShuttle, a shared-ride airport door-to-door ground transportation (around one hour, approximate cost: $30). The Mayflower hotel is one of the first stops from the airport.
- By the Washington Flyer Coach at economy prices from Washington Dulles International Airport to the West Falls Church metro station (cost: $10 one-way or $18 round-trip). From West Falls Church metro station, you may take the Orange metro line to Farragut North (5 minutes walking distance from the hotel).
Welcome Desk and onsite secretariat
The Welcome Desk is located at the ground floor, in the hotel “Promenade”. The onsite secretariat, also located at the ground floor, will be signaled by sign posts.

Evaluation form
The World CTL Conference strives for continuous improvement. Thus, your evaluation and suggestions are essential. An evaluation form will be included in your conference bag. More copies will be available at the Welcome Desk. We thank you in advance for filling it in all along the Conference.
List of participants
A list of participants will be included in your conference bag. An addendum listing with the late and on-site registrants will be made available at the Welcome Desk on Thursday 26 March afternoon.
Proceedings
The conference proceedings will be available on www.world-CTL2009.com after the Conference. Each participant will receive an access code by email and will be able to download the proceedings, free of charge.
Conference Reception
The Conference Reception will be held on Thursday 26 March at 6:00 pm within the Hotel Promenade, also the exhibition hall. Attendees, spouses and exhibitors are cordially invited to join.
