Thomas J. Tarka

Thomas Tarka is Energy Systems Senior Analyst at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) from the U.S. Department of Energy.

Within the Office of Systems Analyses and Planning division, he has been working in the field of synthetic fuels production and coal-fired power production for the last six years, including extensive work in the area of carbon mitigation strategies, benefits analysis, and helping researchers to bridge the R&D gap between the Laboratory and the plant.

He is a Chemical Engineer by training.
