Corey Henry

Corey Henry is the vice president of industry communications for the National Mining Association (NMA), headquartered in Washington, D.C. NMA is the only national trade organization that represents the interests of the mining community before Congress, the administration, federal agencies, the judiciary and the media.

Henry joined in NMA in January 2006 after previously serving as the director of public affairs for The Fertilizer Institute, a trade industry association representing U.S. agricultural fertilizer producers and retailers.

Henry came to Washington, D.C. in 2001 as an associate editor for Inside U.S. Trade and Inside U.S.-China Trade, weekly specialty journals covering U.S. and international trade policy.

Henry, a Canadian national, holds an honors degree in political studies from the University of Saskatchewan (Canada) and a journalism degree from the University of Regina (Canada).
