Daniel C. Cicero

Daniel C. Cicero is the Technology Manager for Hydrogen and Syngas, in the Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory.

Dan leads the implementation of national programs in coal, advanced power and hydrogen/syngas technologies in partnership with industry, universities, and other national laboratories. Beginning with the Department of Energy in 1979, Dan has progressed from project manager in gasification and gas cleaning technologies to Branch Leader for Gasifier Development, to Division Director for research in separations and fuels processing to his current position as Technology Manager for the Hydrogen and Syngas Program.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (1971), a Master of Business Administration and BS-Chemical Engineering, of the University of Iowa (1978).
