Pete Bartlett

Pete Bartlett is Vice President of Chevron Corporate Business Development, Inc and General Manager of Corporate Business Development.

Pete joined Chevron’s Corporate Business Development organization in early 2008 having most recently headed up the Downstream Strategy & Planning organization.

Pete served from 2000 in the Caltex affiliate in 2000 in Singapore, as leading a number of strategic portfolio initiatives. He moved from this position to Korea for 5 years where he was Senior Resident Director for GS-Caltex Corporation.

He had worked previously in Southern Africa for nearly 13 years for Engen Petroleum Ltd (previously Mobil Oil Southern Africa and Gencor) in Supply and Trading, Special Products and Marketing. He also led acquisitions, divestments and structural transactions culminating in the public listing of Engen’s African and North Sea oil and gas interests.

Pete holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a BSc in Physics from Juniata College, a MSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas.
